Ardèche trips, a vast range of descents
Canoeing down the Ardèche Gorges with ALPHA BATEAUX, that’s to leave for a day full of adventure, fun, nature, sun and...silence. One or two day’s trips, and even more, why not ? if you choose to spend one night on a bivouac aera in the heart of a wild Nature Reserve.

Essential Conditions : must be able to swim 25 meters and know how to dive, have a good physical
health, be more than 7 years old.

Mini- descent - 6 km – 1⁄2 day
From Vallon Pont d’Arc to Châmes. A introductory stretch to discover the Ardeche by canoe.


Descent from the ardeche - 24 km – 1 day
From Châmes to Saint Martin d’Ardèche. Canoeing down the river in a natural preserved site which is only
accessible by boat or on foot. Don’t forget your lunch !


Long descent from the ardeche - 30 km – 1 day
From Vallon Pont d'Arc to Saint Martin d'Ardèche. Starts off with the mini descent and a passage under the
majestic arch of the Pont d'Arc, then 24 Km in the Nature Reserve of the Gorges.
Long descent from the ardeche - 30 km - 2 or 3 days
From Vallon Pont d’Arc to Saint Martin d’Ardèche. The whole of the descent with a night in the nature reserve
in one of the two bivouac aeras (Gaud or Gournier).
It’s also possible to realize this trip in 3 days with 2 nights in bivouac aeras.

Maxi Descent - 60 km – 3 days
From Voguë to Saint Martin d’Ardèche. A very technical itinerary with passage through the dams by canoe
toboggan. (download the map)

Discovery formula
A two days descent that will allow you to spend the night in camp site or in hotel.
The first day you will canoe 6 km from Vallon Pont d’Arc to Châmes. The second day you will go down the Ardèche Gorges during 24 km from Châmes to Saint Martin d’Ardèche.
It’s possible to go down 24 km the first day and 6 km an other day.


For accomodation we recommend you "Hotel Restaurant Clos des Bruyeres". Village of gites "Domaine de l'Astic".
